LeaseLens Alternative: What Happened, and Where to Go Instead

LeaseLens Alternative

The Answer You Probably Came For

As of 1 September 2026 we could not verify that LeaseLens is still operating. If you are searching for it, that is most likely why you could not find it either.

We are stating this carefully, because declaring another company's product dead is a serious claim and we would rather be precise than dramatic. What we can say is what we checked ourselves, on that date:

  • leaselens.ai did not resolve. No DNS A record.
  • leaselens.com serves nothing. It resolves to a domain-parking address and returns no response over HTTPS.
  • Its parent company, Zuva, has repositioned. Zuva now presents itself around sell-side M&A diligence, and does not name LeaseLens on its own lease management use-case page — the single page where you would most expect to find it.

What that adds up to is an absence of evidence that the product is available, not a press release confirming it is gone. If you have current information that contradicts this, we would rather correct the page than be right.

One practical consequence: most "LeaseLens review" and "best lease abstraction tools" pages still listing it have not checked. Feature descriptions of it continue to circulate as search-index residue of a site that no longer answers. Treat any comparison table containing LeaseLens as evidence that the table was not verified.

What People Were Actually Using It For

LeaseLens was reached for as a low-commitment, self-serve way to abstract a lease — upload a document, get structured terms back, no procurement cycle and no sales conversation. That is the need to solve for, and it is a real one: most lease abstraction tooling is sold top-down to portfolios, which leaves the analyst with four leases and a deadline with nowhere to go.

So the useful question is not "which product is most similar to LeaseLens" but "which of the things LeaseLens did do you actually need".

If You Want to Try Before Talking to Anyone

This was LeaseLens's main draw, and one option in this set preserves it.

Prophia publishes a self-serve abstraction tool: AI-only with no human review step, returning roughly 20 lease terms in five to ten minutes. It is the only tool in this comparison you can put a lease through and judge before speaking to anyone, and it is a genuinely useful way to test extraction quality on your own documents. Prophia's full product is a different proposition — 215 fields across 40+ document types with expert validation — and it covers office, retail and industrial but not multifamily.

If You Need Depth Rather Than Speed

A twenty-field abstract answers "what are the headline terms". It does not answer "what is the current effective term after four amendments", which is where lease abstraction actually gets hard.

If the Lease Was Only Ever a Means to a Number

Plenty of people abstracting a lease do not want a lease abstract. They want to know what the property is worth, and the lease is in the way.

If that is you, a lease tool is the wrong shape of purchase — you will get structured terms and still have to build the model. Cactus carries operating statements through to a pro forma for multifamily, self-storage and development. Crevanta goes further down the same chain — leases, rent roll and operating statements become an underwriting model, a valuation and a BOV, with every figure traceable to the document it came from — across seven CRE property types.

Side by Side

Every cell links to that vendor's own published page, read on 1 September 2026. Not published means the vendor publishes no claim on that capability; it is not evidence the capability is absent. LeaseLens is deliberately absent from this table: we will not publish feature claims about a product we cannot confirm exists.

A Note on Choosing a Replacement

The lesson of a tool disappearing is worth carrying into the next choice. Two questions that would have surfaced this earlier:

  • Can you get your data out, in a format that is useful without the vendor? Structured export matters most at exactly the moment a vendor stops answering.
  • Is the abstract traceable to the source document? An extracted field with the passage it came from survives the tool that produced it. A field without one is only as good as your trust in a product that may not be there next year.
